In October 2012, the Ariogen Pharmaceutical Biotechnology Research Center was established after receiving approval from the Council for the Development of Medical Sciences Universities. The primary goal of the center is to bolster and extend the necessary infrastructure for the manufacture of recombinant drugs. Furthermore, the center aims to collaborate with universities and research institutes around the world, while also working to enhance the country's contribution to pharmaceutical biotechnology research and development.
