Oppmakr Institute - Tehran

Oppmakr Institute was established in 2005 as a boutique consulting agency focused on digital transformation and market entrance strategy. Since then, the think tank has grown to cover almost all services that matter to businesses, from strategic alliances to finance, and has partnered with organizations from Syria to Switzerland.

Reza Ghiabi founded Oppmakr in response to the powerful need for project management, data-driven strategy, and operation management services. The first project, which was completed with Ghiabi's college classmates, was a pen and pencil factory layout design in Yazd. After providing project management services to over 30 manufacturing companies in six years, the company shifted its focus to market entry strategy and shared its knowledge with Iran's startup

The success of Oppmakr led to the signing of the JCPOA between Iran and P5+1 in 2015, and a booming business in Europe as companies sought to enter the world's largest untapped market. This success allowed the company to transform into a think tank and become more flexible, philosophically driven, and smarter.

Rather than using in-house resources, Oppmakr now curates Oppmakr Teams, which are comprised of experts from the Institute's elite network. This method allows the Institute to be unbiased when looking into a client's challenges and has reduced project costs by up to 40%.
